Gut Health and Glyphosate

A critical foundation for human health lies in the gut microbiome. This complex and amazing web of life in our gut is a reflection of the soil that our food grows in!⁣

•⁣ 100 years ago, all food was organic. It grew in clean, mineral-rich soil and pure water – no chemicals, herbicides or pesticides. Today, real food has been replaced by corporate-produced, fast, cheap, addictive and processed food-like substances. ⁣

•⁣ Worse yet, the World Health Organization and National Academy of Sciences have identified glyphosate residue as a “probable carcinogen.” On July 7, 2017, the State of California went one step further and declared that Glyphosate “causes cancer and birth defects,” adding it to the Proposition 65 list.⁣

•⁣ It is essential that we prioritize the health of our microbiome and of our bodies as a whole. In many ancient cultures, the gut is referred to as “the second brain” – and rightfully so because like the brain in our heads, it has neurons and produces many neurotransmitters. In other words if our gut is not happy, we are not healthy. ⁣

•⁣ 🔥Cleanse🔥⁣ •⁣ I have teamed up with a group of people who share my vision to provide healing in the world. We believe it starts with cleaning up our food system. I am supporting an “Ultimate Lifestyle Transformation” where we work on reducing body inflammation, detoxification, weight loss (or gain if that’s what you want) better sleep, balanced hormones and more. •⁣ 🔥Vulnerability🔥⁣ •⁣ In light of being honest and authentic, I want to share how challenging making these videos can be for me. I’ve never been one to project my voice, but given how important I feel it is to share what’s on my heart, I am feeling called to face my fears and step up to speak. It’s not easy for me but I plan to continue to empower my voice and show up while leaning into uncomfortable territory with authenticity and honesty. ⁣

•⁣ Thank you for watching and I hope you find value in this content!⁣

•⁣ Much love

Donations from this page are the fuel for further exploration and action. To become a Patron of The Adventure of Truth is to help planet Earth and its people to become harmonious, happy, strong and healthy. By covering the overhead expense of travel, this project is able to quickly grow its branches and explore new opportunities. Renting venues to run meditation workshops, buying seeds to plant, blessing water, and creating content such as podcasts and blog posts are some examples of the opportunities your donation allows us to pursue. Once our goal is hit, we intend to purchase a physical space for members to meet, work and collaborate. Further donations will also allow us to hire more active members of this adventure who wish to dedicate their time toward contributing love into our environment.

Teaching the Ways of Nature

Environmental Education Workshop

In coordination with the Boulder Valley School District and Friar Farms, a Friday morning field trip for Boulder middle school students inevitably grew into something more.

Located just to the east of the city of Boulder, Friar Farms is a 40-acre farm that seeks to bring about the best of its land and of the people who experience its beauty. At Friar Farms, “We utilize organic growing methods that are sprouted from the best seed and the purest water. Developing intent that is rooted in love brings about the fullest expression of that which we grow.”

During our time with the students, we taught principals of gratitude and intention while working with seeds and cultivating a healthy soil complex. Over the course of the day, we put together compost bags, spread seeds, gathered weeds for fermented plant juices, and spent time with these majestic horses.

With the intention of opening the minds of the students to the inner workings of the natural world, we sought to gift the experience of working with the elements of nature. In doing so, we had a wonderful afternoon full of excitement and learning. Many of the kids were excited to get their hands dirty and we hope to offer this experience again in the future. Special thanks to Scott and Friar Farms for providing the space for all to learn and grow.
